Any advice?? Im thinking about taking my boys out tommorrow morning to fish for cat and crappie... i live in the mid cities and we'll be bank fishing. Im up for a "reasonable" drive somewhere. So where are the good lakes, ponds, and or creeks we can try out??

DON'T HAPPEN TO KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE. HOWEVER, THERE IS A GOOD SIZE POND WHERE MY WIFE AND I USED TO FISH FOR BASS AND CATFISH. IT IS LOCATED IN LUMBERTON,TEXAS. IT IS CALLED MICHELL'S AND IS LOCATED OFF MICHELL'S ROAD IN LUMBERTON OFF HWY 96. WE HAVE CAUGHT SEVERAL GOOD SIZE CATFISH ON HIS POND. HE EVEN HAS SOME BOATS WITH TROLLING MOTORS THAT YOU CAN USE AT NO EXTRA COST. WISH I COULD FIND HIS TELEPHONE NO. FOR YOU. HE USED TO ADVERTISE ON SOUTHEAST TEXAS.COM.
