that link works ... that's a big ole fish there ... i like that boat too, what kind is it?
not sure about the weight on that fish ... back in june i caught a flatty that was about 41 inches long but he only weighed 42# ... he had just come off the nest or he woulda weighed more
regards albertking catfishing is now an industry ... it's best for the industry to eat baby catfish

that's a big male and he's a lot lighter right now than he would be in the fall or the spring as he just came off the nest ... we caught one about identical to that one and it weighed 34 lbs ...long and lean but big head. here's the pics of the one we caught the other night. Your's looks a little bigger than this one but they'd certainly weigh a lot more if they hadn't just came off the nest. your's is probably around 45 lbs at most and probably close to 55 to 60 before it went on the nest ... you can tell your's is a male by the shape of it's head which is like this one ... looks like they've got cheeks ... the female's head is a lot narrower and more streamlined. the guy holding this one up is 6 ft 3" or there abouts.

cant see the pic but we pulled a 58 lb yella that was 51" long and had a 31" girth.
Justin 63lb, 2 58lb, several 40's, 38lb, and several 20lb yellas.

How do you catch fish that big? I have always wanted to catch a 30+ pound fish.
