I strictly fish off the bank. I got my hands full with the equipment I'm now carrying is but I'm needing to get a bait keeper and a net. The net won't be a problem but what kind of bait keeper can I use for shad that will be easy to transport in one trip with all my other gear especialy for those longs walks. Of course I want a bait keeper or a system that keeps the shad alive as long as possible.
My gear list as of now is as follow:
1. a tackle bag 2. 2 r&r 3. ice chest w/ice and sometimes a 5 gallon chum bucket
Just cause there's water don't mean there's fish

They have a fishing cart in Cabela's that I bought for my bank fishing. On it I can carry my big tackle box, worm box, cooler for drinks, lawn chair, 2 stands and 2 unbrella, chum container of range cubes and 8 rod and reels. But usually I only take 4 rod and reels with me. ok, sometime 5. I imagine if i wanted to take another cooler I could elimnate some of the things I take. But this little cart is a great investment for bank fishing. I love my little cart. I also carry a 5 gal. bucket with cast nets in it with my free hand.

Does it get any cheaper than that? $100 for a cart is pretty expensive.

northern tool has a little wagon for $60... go check out their other options and see if they have something with big rubber tires that will do what you need.
some people spend their whole life waiting for the storm, and never enjoy the sunshine

Have an old golf cart that is light and works great for strapping a 5 gallon bucket to it. I build a cart out of bike wheels and wood. Works well for a heavy load but I tend to use it more to haul stuff around the yard versus fishing. Then there is always the kids wagon which works quite well to haul a cooler. It won't ride over riprap like the homemade cart though.
