Ok I cant decide on what tires to get for my truck it is a Z71 Silverado 1500 and I tow a 20 foot champion with it and I need some that are good for towing and all terrain for hunting? I am not looking to spend a whole bunch. Thanks

I really like my Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revos. Quiet on the highway, good wet traction and on dirt/gravel. Haven't had it in deep mud. I paid right at $600 for a set of four 265/70-16, which included mounting, balance, road hazard, disposal fee, etc.
You can check out tire reviews for different makes at tirerack.com.

Michelins LTX are great, pricey but well worth it. Don't cut yourself short on important stuff like tires.

have run 5 different kind on the trucks and suburban. the ltx's are great, but will become slick and no traction on wet pavement long before the tread gets low.second set to do this. the ltx's had 50000+ on them, lots of tread, but couldn't get down a boat ramp. the BFG's didn't last anywhere near as long, and seemed to load up with mud if you ever went off road.not good to stick a 3/4 ton suburban. last set are from Pep Boys.all terrain load range D. 50000 mi warranty. buy 3 get one free with a mail in rebate. 124. per tire, get 124 back. lots cheaper than the Michelins. we will see how they do.

I had a 1/2 ton 4x4 F-150 that I put a set of Nitto Terra Grappler AT's on and loved them. I got over 50,000 miles on them before I traded the truck in. They still had a lot of tread left on them. I have a 06 Z71 that I am going to put those on soon. It came with the dueler a/t's and they are horrible. They hold the smallest rocks in the tread and you will be driving down the highway and all of sudden you will hear a ping in your wheel wells from rocks that you picked up miles ago.
Nitto's you wont be disappointed with them and they are about 130.00 a tire.

Only tire I buy is the Michlein ATX's. I have gotten good traction out of them and they are smooth and last a long time without showing wear. I had over 40,000 on one set. Had a blowout and replacement was 100% no tread wear.
