fished the surf for an hour, caught 10 bonito, 4 lady fish, 1 blue fish, and lost something big

I did, but you know what, I have not even taken it out of the shipping material yet. I plan on doing that tomorrow and casting it to see what it is made of.

Thats what I like to see, your getting me excited, I got two weeks till its my turn. Hows the water color right now, I heard its been pretty ugly this last week from storms or something. Keep the pics and update coming.

no redfish was not on the fly but i caught mahi mahi, spanish, very nice bonita, and a king fish. redfish was a bonus fish, we saw a school on the way back to the harbor of over 3000 red fish, and i tried casting my fly but no takes, put a live bait on, WAM. 30 minute fight on really light tackle, it was just supposed to be a fly fishing trip but we could not resist hence the only 2 fishing poles on the boat had no hooks on them, so i had to tie realllly fast while my guide chased the fish from his tower, btw my girlfreind caught a nice amberjack on my fly rod. we chased him for 45minutes!!!!
