CABA had the priviledge to host the Wounded Warrior appreciation tournament on Friday July 18 at Dallas Market Hall. Sponsored by Triton Boats and North Texas Marine.

Triton Boats and North Texas Marine brought in 20 Triton Pro Team folks including Gary Klein and several of the Womens Bass Tour ladies to take approximately 25 veterans to Lake Lewisville for a day on the lake.

What a blessing it was to see the excitment and appreciation on the vets faces when they came to the CABA stage to weigh-in. Take a few minutes to view the video and the next time you see someone in uniform, make it a point to tell them how much you, as an American, appreciate their willingness to serve so that we can continue to live in freedom!

In order to express our appreciation for their service to our country, beginning in '09, CABA is currently looking at the possibility of providing a discount of some sort, such as free membership, to anyone who is on active duty and would like to be a participant in any CABA tournament.

That is awesome. I would love to join you all the next time you do this for the military. I am a retired Navy vet so I would be honored to take some of the warriors fishing.

It was a true honor to be involved in this tournament. I had an incredible time on the water with the Vet. I believe he managed about 20 fish and smile from ear to ear. He could catch them.
