At BPS this weeknd I heard some guy's talking about how it is far superior as far as memory and strength. I was thinking about trying some for my spider rigging rods. I ended up just buying some extra Wally Marshall in 8lb.

If you can find Vicious and if you like the hi vis line ya might give it a try I personally love it I think the panfish only goes to 8lb in hi vis but you can just ask for the saltwater hi vis it goes on up in size as far as I can tell memmory isnt a issue with it

Did you guys use CX or CXX? The CXX is stiffer and has alot more memory. The CX is noticeably limper but still has some memory issues even though they are nowhere like the CXX.
BTW, all this is based on using 15# & 20# on my bigger rods. I'm hoping the lighter weights don't have the same issues.

I use the 6lb CX flourescent on my jig rods. I tried some 10lb on a minnow rod and that stuff sucked. Happy with the 6lb though.

It's a matter of opinion I guess...so here is mine
I can't stand Mr. Crappie lines, but love the CXX. As far as strength is concerned, you can't complain. Just remember when you break off on a big one using Mr. Crappie, and I am talking about the 2#plus SLAB here. Pline CXX doesn't not come in fluorescent green anything below 10# test at BPS; You would have to order it online thru BSP and usually shipped directly from Pline. However, I've been using the 6# & 8# CXX fluorescent green or the last several yrs now and am extremely happy w/ them. For those who never plan on the big SLAB, then I guess you wouldn't want to waste your $$$. However, you get what you paid for when it comes to line. Suffix is limber and nice somewhat, but it still doesn't not hold near as strong as the CXX Pline. The only other line that I love among all lines would be the Maxima. Unfortunately the Maxima doesn't make any in fluorescent colors, thus, Pline is the line I've been using until something else better comes along. Thumb UP, way up on Pline CXX 6# & 8# Opinion does varies, huh?

CV, your opinion is worth it's weight in gold to me. I will be tryin the p-Line on at least some of my rods. To me part of crappie fishing is tryin new things to see what works. As I become a more seasoned crappie guy I relize changing some other variables besides your bait makes a big difference. You can have a box full of the best jigs in the world but if you dont know how to fish em you wont get bit!
So which one do I buy??? I want something 8-10lbs for trolling.

Brian, Try out w/ a smaller spool until you like it (I ordered the large spool since all my rods have it) Pline CXX Fluorescent green 6# is what I used at most slips and open brush piles. 6# is good for slow falling smaller jigs while dock shooting and bridge shooting. 8# is what I use for timber fishing or thick brush during the spawn 10# is optional if you like to fish Jerry's style. Exception, that I would only use 8# slip fishing at Navaro Mills, Tawakoni, etc... and perhaps, your slips Brian!!!
Note: 6# or 8# fluorescent green must be ordered thru BSP's online

Not sure, but I'll check on it..I bout the 8# thnking it was the shizzle, and was sorley disapointed...it wrapped, twisted etc...took it off, re-spooled it a couple times, same result. Considering I'm one of those fellows that re-spools after a couple outings (cause I'm that particular) I really care about what goes on my rods, and money is not an issue. But this is my experience.

I got some 4lb and was very disappointed in its strength. I may have gotten a bad spool because it breaks way to easily.
