Last year I needed to replace the fuel line and primer bulbs from the filter to the motor on my twin 150s. I was in GEBOs in Mckinney and saw they had two complete Tempo primer bulbs/fuel line assemblies for 75% off. Even at less than ten bucks for each, I had reservations but I figured what the heck, I need them, I'm here and they're cheap. Probably spend that much on fuel line alone.
Well the primer bulb on the port engine has been a pain since day one. I could always feel the check valve sticking. Sometimes it would work sometimes I would always need to go back there and pump it every time I wanted to start the motor. Two weeks ago it stuck shut and I needed someone back there pumping it too make it back. Yes the flow arrow was pointed to the motor but I think it may have been stamped backwards for the way it was working. There is now a Quicksilver bulb in there and it is just purring. There is another Quicksilver bulb in the boat for the starboard motor now also. It hasn't been giving me problems but when it does it is gone.
