A while back I heard that a boat ramp was going to open at River Leagacy Park in Arlington. Does anyone know if it opened? Has anyone been there to fish? Which park entrance?

There's a thread in this forum, dated 07-10-08, that has a link in it to the newspaper story.....gives the location and states it was open, effective July 1st. Title of the thread (topic) is "arlington has new access". Sorry, my link-fu is weak and couldn't figure out how to link the topic.

I went by the entrance on N. Collins yesterday and saw what seemed to be the access point, but it was wrapped with that safety orange disposable fence stuff. I might be wrong though..

The orange markers is all they have done from what I can tell. It has been this way for over a month.

Thank you,
