I went there tonight. I got a little 8 inch catfish on some Powerbait Catfish Liver dough on a treble hook. I got a BIG fish on a dead shad, but he snapped my 8lb line like it was nothing. I couldn't see what he was, but he was heavy.

It was kind of slow until about 8:30

The pond is across the street from the school on the south side. There is a dirt path that goes form Highbank dr.

Why would any take a boat out to that and how do you get a boat down there?

There is a lot of grass, so maybe to avoid it? It looked like a little jonboat, or maybe an inflatable. I saw it from 1000 feet above the ground, so it was a little hard to tell. smile

Just junp the curb by Bowie high.
Launch from the drainage pipe.
I usually take my pond buster and fish by the stumps.

I would rather have a bad day fishing, than a good day at the office!

I can tell you now I know there are some good fish in this pond. The last four weeks my boss has had me and my kids come out and cull some of the fish from his pond. We have released 30 bass about 12"-14", 4 that were between 3&4 lbs and 2 that were over 6lbs. So now I know there are at least 36 fish in this pond. This pond had some nice fish so I hope these survive to help replace some of what has been taken. Good luck and I hope you catch a big-un.
