She knew they were there, but didn't know what they were, nor could she smell them due to the wind direction...

Fantastic video!! That would be an experience. However, I must admit that I would have moved to let her know I was there way before she got that close. A moose cow will protect her calf with her life! And she could have done some real damage to either the hunter or the cameraman if she suddenly felt threatened. Getting plowed into the ground in the backcountry and then waiting hours if not days trying to get necessary medical attention is not my idea of a fun hunt!!!

Years ago deer hunting in Utah, had a big Bull and a cow, 10yrds from me, wind blowing at my back in a snow strom, and I was sweating with my little 30-30. I made it.

I would have wrestled her to the ground. LOL She could have really messed them up especially with a calf with her. I dont think I could have been that still under those conditions. If I would have had a rifle it would be differant, but with a bow, no way. That is an awesome video.
