Port A is kind of limited on places to stay unless you dont mind paying the $$.Its usually all booked by begining of summer but The Mayan Princess may have rooms avail and they are right on the water and very very NICE! If you travel 15 min down the road to (south) to JP Luby surf park, I believe there is a Holiday in right on the water there too. I wouldnt stay in aransas pass though but Rockport has many bed and breakfast sites on line and not too far from aransas and the Ferry.

I just left Aransas Pass Sunday. I stayed in the Super 8, had good prices and reasonable rooms. Spent a week for under $500

My family and I have stayed at Clines Landing in Port A for the last few years. Kind of pricey. Request the channel view and you can't go wrong. Has a pool for the kids. TnT

My family usually stays at a condo, the Sandcastle. It's a little more than a hotel, but you have a kitchen and can save a ton on food. It's right on the beach and my wife is perfectly content to hang out by the huge pool all day.

Google Port Aransas Chamber of Commerce and you can find links to places to stay. When on a budget I stay at Sea Sands condos. You will save $ with a kitchen and it is in town.

Coral Cay condos is the only place to stay in Port A. Once you stay there, you will know why!

I'll second the Super 8. They have good boat parking, and outside outlets for plugging in your charger. Conn Brown boat ramp is very close, free, and easy to launch in just about any wind conditions.
