I went to Greesons weekly fishing report (copy of TPWD report) both show all cats as excellent. I saw something that startled me...92 degree water temp at choke?? You should just be able to net them or maybe even see them on the bank huh?

Where does one fish for cats at Calaveras? Choke?

Any tips would be helpful for this weekend as I am excited to be trying a new lake this weekend.

Thanks

Water Temp at Choke on friday was 83 and Calaveras saturday was 88 -91.
Fishin' has been good- excellent , fishing main lake points on both lakes; shallow with Big Marvs, Secret 7 & other prpeared baits as well as perch and shrimp.
Fishing the river channel on creek channels on the big pond has been good as well.
Be careful and good luck!
