What was his name? You might could do a search in the Dallas Morning News or maybe even Google.
Sorry to hear about your friend.
As a matter of fact I do fish like a girl!
Shopping with my husband is like fishing with the game warden!

whiterockjesse- Charlie and the Christs are very close family friends of my brother-in-law and his immediate family. It is my understanding that this happened out at Tawakoni, not at Fork. Other than that fact, everything else about this tragedy is still a mystery. Apparently, he was fishing just off the shore in a patch of lily pads, in waders. I understand the game warden talked to a couple that was fishing within eyesight of him and they remember seeing him one minute and the next time they looked over he was no where to be seen. Im not sure where they found him, but I think it was in that general area. According to the autopsy there was no sign of anything out of the ordinary, there was no trauma, and I believe the cause of death was drowning.
I did not know him very well, but I know he was a super nice guy and will be sorely missed by his family and friends. Things like this really make you think twice about being aware of your surroundings and trying to take it slower and be a little bit safer when out on the water or in the field.
