Mike my son would not mind a 12 year old hanging out with him. Bring your son!

I just learned that on Nov 7,8,9 there is a Folk Festival at Beavers Bend and it will be very crowded, probably not good for a group get-together (but I may be wrong) how about the next weekend ? Nov 15-16 ? or would earlier (Oct) or Later be better ?
I am flexable myself, but for those that want cabins & rooms the time for getting reservations is getting closer, I think campsites shouldn't be to much of a problem

My 0.02 would be that earlier is better. I think that next week and going forward towards Thanksgiving and later, it would be busier. I'm going try and check my work schedule this week, but mid Sept or mid Oct are most workable for me given my work schedule.

Is Oct 1-10 hot in Broken Bow? I don't mind going then sometime in that time frame, but I don't want to burn up either. I know here it is hot then many times....Anyone know?

I went last year in October and it was pleasant, a little on the warm side during the day, but not unpleasantly hot.

I can do:

Sept 12-15th
Sept 19-22nd
Sept 26-29th
Oct 17-20th
Dec 12-14th

If there's any way you guys could manage one of the above date ranges I'd love to show up. If not, I'll see what I can do. Nov is out, it's to short a month a work.

I will be in Glorietta NM Oct 13 - 16th fly fishing!
Other than the first weekend in November (another outdoor event) I am open.

Winners blame themselves for their failures and strive to get better.
Losers blame everybody else and give up.
