Was out on the Lake started at 6PM at Deadmans and picked up numerous Sandies slabbin the bottom with a 2oz TNT. We even played with the small schoolies for a while with the mice and humdingers. Moved out to the gravel pits at dusk and couldn't get a slab to the bottom before we picked up more. Grandpa had four doubles in a row in the back of the boat! Caught one 4 lb Hybrid in the gill so had to keep him.. All in all probably about 60 which all all thrown back for another day. Great way to finish off the weekend. Even saw Captain Carter and gave him back his marker. Seems like the fish are biting better in the evening vs some of the reports from the early morning bite.
