I didn't know you were so helpful I should have called you I ended up with 2 days worth of honey do's at mother-in-laws on CC this weedend and could have used your help.  I know the feeling. Only 2 hours of fishing and still saw a million boats and kids on every dock. (note to self don't try to fish on 4th of July weekend) But there were plenty for free fireworks for the watching.

I've lived here on CC for the last 2+ years and I've learned my lesson well. Not only did I not fish, I LEFT TOWN. The boat traffic on the 4th is incredible, but the traffic in Gun Barrel is even worse.
My wife says we're becoming "lake snobs" but I figure we'll just let the party'ers have their fun and just come back later.
Jason, your pictures of your catch today is the reason I live down here!!!

LOL!!! Here are some pics from last night when I was on a school of whites!!  Just a few boats!   That is crazy. I had no idea CC was that busy on holidays. It looks like the 635 of lakes.
