I drove over at lunch and did some recon of the elm fork/ trinity behind the hagger building and I was run off by security. I drove down to the Omni hotel and parked. All the area behind hagger is closed off, looks like construction but if you walk down the path on the north side of the river you will come to the big pool about 500 yards down and a few spots look accessable. I didn't see any "No Fishing" signs so this might be a good area to try. I am going to hit it one of these mornings and I will let you know.

The love of fishing is a gift from above.

I was there saturday morning and didn't see a soul on the Haggar side of the river. ON the north side there were 4-5 people fishing there. Maybe things have changed. there was signs of some type of construction, but no security, no employees, no nobody, except me.

No matter if the north side remains accessible, fishing is just as good there!

Thanks for posting these notes ... I visit an office near there occasionally and appreciate the information for when I want to go fishing in those areas.
