Ok, just wanting to survey everyone.
what type of line do you use for Deep Cranks like a DD22?
Also what lb test do you use?

Right now I have been using 12 lb Big Game. I am just really getting into Deep Cranks, and wanted to see what some other guys use.

Flourocarbon sinks so its gets your bait down deeper...it costs like 3X what mono does though, but I thik it is worth it...Also the smaller diamater line = deeper the bait will run...

12-15LBS SEAGAR INVIZ-X This line is so limber that you can cast a very long way. I believe highly in this line. Put it with the right combonation (rod/reel) and you can feel everything. It is cheaper to buy it buy the 1000 yd spools.

I think that the best line for crank baits is a 14 lb flourocarbon. Flourocarbon line sinks alot faster than mono, allowing the bait to get down to the desired debt much faster. This is crucial when cranking because it takes time to get that bait down to the right running debth, and by that time you have already reeled in half your line. So, useing a line that cuts water fast is crucial.
I think that the 14 lb offers the best trade off between strenght and sink under most fishing conditions. Heavier line does not cut water and sink as fast as lighter line, but you want to be able to handle big fish at the same time. For this reason, I think that 14 lb is the best compromise. However, if I am fishing a lake like Falcon, I will sacrifice a little sink for more power. On Falcon, I use 17 lb Flourocarbon. Just go with a little deeper diver than what you normally would, make long cast, and crank hard untill you think the bait is down to the right level.
My Flourocarbon of choice is Berkley Vanish. It performs well and is resonable in price. However, if I was fishing a huge money tourny, I would go with that new Berkely 100% Flourocarbon stuff. It is like $20 a spool, but I hear really good things.

There are two things you want in a line for deep cranking. Thin diameter to get the maximum depth and strong to fight through the deep grass or brush piles that the fish are hanging around. I prefer something without a lot of stretch. Big Game has too much stretch for me and flourocarbon is too expensive (and more difficult to cast) than mono or co-polymer. I use Hi-Seas Black Widow. It's a Co-polymer so not much stretch, camo pattern so it's invisible and it's true line test so the 20lb test is same diameter as most 14lb., not to mention super tough. I know it's hard to find but once you use it you'll be hooked. It works well on all crankbaits and spinnerbaits too.
