Got out on the lake at 10:OO am. saw the huge boat show ,and had to check it out.Followed these fish for at least an hour, and decided to call friend from Rockwall to meet me at chandlers.Thought they would be gone by the time we got back,I was wrong.Huge school, they just would not go down.Caught a few nice hybrid under the school on slabs, one was the best of the year!! Ended up with 80 or so sandies, and some nice hybrid. fish

LTF, Saturday was a different story with 100 mph winds. This is a little exaggeration but it was rough looking out there. I did not get on the lake because of the winds. Glad you guys had a great trip today, I might be able to get out there Thursday night late if the weather holds out.

I heard they were schooling on the south end, it is rough being at work knowing the fish are jumping in the boat!!

I know we've all seen it but it was like 1/2 acre's at a time!! I usually don't like to get into the boat show but it was impossible not to check it out. The coolest thing was I took a good friend out today that had never been on fish like that, and that was the biggest highlight of my day!!! maybe we'll see ya thurs. champion fish!

I was taking my slab with a fly by night and burning it across the top, and baaaam! then I would slowly reel the fish in and BOOOOM! doubles ,it was greatness!!I slowed down for a bit and went underneath them, and hooked some really nice hybrids,it was awesome!!

what boat were you in?
I was in the pontoon that would get on the North side of them, float through, then drive AROUND the school to get back on the windward side of them. There were a couple of boats that showed up that would just drive right in the middle of them, ARRRGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH mad. I know it got to others because they would get so close to others to tangle line. I finally had enough and went elsewhere. Ended catching 50, all released. Had only 5 Hybrids, all under . It was fun catching them.
My 1st time trying out the TNT Slabs. They definatly work better than the others I have used (THANKS Sea Pro Todd!). I also caught them on a chrome rattle trap, and some of the larger fish on a crawfish colored crankbait.
Went for more lures and realized someone had stolen my tackle box out of my boat during the week mad..........MAN THAT SUCKS!!!
Still made a good day of it on the water with my bride. Gonna have to go restock at Bass Pro

It sounds like the south end is just a big party, and I did not get invited. Working for a living really sucks!! I need to figure out a way to fish and make money at the same time.

Oh well, Iam glad you guys had a great trip.

I was in the 19' Starcraft. I remember seeing the pontoon boat. Where you with your wife? I was with my wife and son.
