We caught this bass right off the pier next to the boat ramp at Gibbons Creek a few weeks ago. I know the lake is known for producing monster bass (many 10+), however, this was a nice surprise considering we don't have a boat!

YUM wooly curl tail (pumpkin with a chartreuse tail) - Texas rigged. I swear, that's my new favorite bait - it catches bass everywhere I go.

They have quite a few camping locations within the post oaks near the boat ramp. Pretty nice camping in the spring, however, looks it looks pretty hot as we approach the dog days.
