Well, at least something was bitin'. Seems like most reports lately have been for LMB, crappie, and drum . . . . . hope it breaks loose soon for the sandies & hybrids.

Dang, i see you still got time to fish still! We used to catch crappies on slabs in the trees outside of richardson slough, would have done some damage with minnows

I don't really know what to type here.

Went out yesterday caught a few sandies during some sporadic topwater schooling action. The wipers were underneath the sandies caught a few unders and a bonus the kitties were waiting under the sandies also, a beautiful morning to fish almost no wind and clouds to hold the temp down. Most fish were in or around 25' ledges, edges, main lake humps. North smile smile WELCOME to the TFF!!!!

Ok...you do have to go north, but to be more specific is the cove south and east of the dam called Richardson's Sleugh -- look for the humps and the channel and be careful = trees everywhere.

PiePuncher could tell you more about the pattern, but start looking in about 18' for humps and ledges. Enjoy the fishing!!!

Me the wife and daughter will be camping in Holiday Thurs, Fri, Sat, and Sun. Plan to do some early morning fishing to avoid the crowds. May possibly have an open back seat one morning. I think Greg's gonna come out Fri??? Weve been catchin some Crappie too, but I am ready to hook into some more Hybrids for sure. Hopefully the weather is good and not too windy. If anyone wants to come by and say hi. Well be in my Blue T100 with the white cabover on the back and offcourse the old boat will be beached and ready to go at a moments notice. Im thinking of renaming her Swiss Cheese. It's a good thing someone invented the bilge pump smile Does anyone else plan to camp?

I finally got the boat out after EIGHT MONTHS of seclusion. We had a great time but didn't fish. I took my girlfriend and her 3 year old daughter out. She had an absolute ball! We didn't fish but it looked like everyone was gearing up for the sandie bite in richardson Sunday evening. At about 8:00 I'll bet there were 15 boats over there. I threw my cast net a little just to get a handle on it again. Man, I'll bet I caught $30 worth of minnows. Even netted a fingerling LMB just south of Richardson.

The Texoma evening bite is just like in the videos that "Wiskey & Me" has been posting -- it is great!!! Kind of got caught at the wrong end of the lake when the wind came up Saturday morning, so had to head back in against 3.5 - 4' waves. The storm/lightning blew in so I skipped fishing Saturday evening and Sunday morning.

Will hit Benbrook Thursday pm and that will be it for me -- don't like messing with the Holiday crowds.
