I know of a few ponds in Carrollton, but never fished them to know if they are holding many fish. I just want to take my 5 year old nephew out to learn to cast and catch perch at the very least, so he will be ready when I take him to the lake on the boat with me to catch sandies. smile Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks!

The pond behind the new library of Kellerspring and Josey (Soutwest Corner). Got a fishing barge there that you can fish.

Yeah thats a good spot, there is another pond next to it where I go to catch perch.

Also try the ponds off of McCoy between Frankford and 190. There are a few ponds there if you drive down Crooked Creek. There is also a pond near 35 and Luna off of Capital pkwy.

the pond behind the library is the best place for bluegill and green sunfish, it also has a lot of bass.
