 lost a reel today.

i was fighting a 5ft cuda about 45 minutes ago from my rental boat, and the fish was tearing up my 6 weight that the spool poped off. and i did not tie a knot from my backing to the reel. fish got away and so did the reel.... good thing i brought 4 reels out here   o yea here some fish pron http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jvITNYYRs6cand a black tip i caught on my 12wt this morning, it was only 6ft    i know i know i hate you too

Man, black tip and cudas sound like fun. as for your conventional tarpon, use a real rod man, none of that sissy stuff!!!!

ps if anyone finds a nikon at the bottom of the ocean, there are pics of 200lb jewfish, 40lb king fish, a mess of bonita, 70lb jewfish, lemon shark, bull shark, hammerhead, and a bunch of other fish.
