i caught 3 cats in one day HOW MANY HAVE YOU CAUGHT IN ONE DAY? When I was running a trap line back in the late 70's, I caught 2 one day.  Ooops, you mean catfish  My friend Bill and I got on them one day and after about 3 1/2 hrs., we had the live well full and some in the net so we went in. We were a little embarrassed  when cleaning them to find that we had 52. We don't make a practice of keeping more fish than the law allows

we caught between 70 or 80 last monday on Eagle Mountain. cleaned 50.

Before the limits on cats, I caught 43 on rod and reel. Sense the limits I've caught 25 keepers on rod and reel about 30 to 40 times. Lady Luck has been on my side a few times!

A friend and I caught around 60 on Grapevine last spring in the mouth of Denton Creek before the lake got full. We ended up cutting back to 2 rod and reels because we couldn't keep the rods baited without having to reel in more fish. There was alot of current that day. We were both too tired to clean anything and released them all to fry another day. That was a fun day.

Me, my father in-law and my 2 boys fished tawakoni bout a month ago and we cleaned 100 after bout 2 hours on fri. saturday we cleaned another 75-80.

About 1200 cats and around 500 carp. I didn't do it by myself, of course.
Mr. Lee had sold all the fish in his #1 lake to Brinkley's Lakes owner. Me, Eddy Hankins, Ted C. Fred H. and a guy named James from Cheraw, SC were removing the fish with a 100 foot half inch mesh net. This was near Charlotte, NC in 1960.
With pole and bait I have caught stringers too heavy to lift, but that would be bragging, so I will just say.....about 25 nice keepers.
