Will someone recommend some good areas to fish for bass from the bank at the vine. Heading there sat. morning for the first time. I bought a map just need to know where to go. Also how do the rattlesnakes do there??

never seen a rattlesnake fishing GP , seen plenty of water snakes, moccasins and an occasional rat snake. Any of the parks have good bank access, try meadowmere first then work your way around

went out today, fished for 30 min before the storm hit the lake.
used shad on a 3 ft leader with a 1 oz weight thrown at rock ledge park. caught a 4 lb large mouth.

two days before caught 8 LMB ranging from 2 - 3 lbs using small perch for bait - one was caught on white spinner bait. heavy top water action during early morning before sunrise.

the white bass seem to be hit or miss at rock ledge over the past week for bank fishing.

I've been going out in the evenings for a little while and picking up a few decent sized LMB's on Rat-L-Trap's.

Always fun to catch a few fish and watch the sun go down.

Has anyone fished Murrell in a while? Do you still have to walk a mile to fish?
