Sorry Matthew, I wasn't holding out on purpose...Lake Limestone. I would have gone to RC, but Limestone is a little quicker for me. Hopefully I can find some big uns on RC next month. By the way, they were all caught in about 12-16' of water and about 10-14' deep. Also, all of them were caught on JIG UM JIGS! (main colors were black/blue & black/chartruse, while red/chartruse also produce a couple of fish...water is still a little stained from all the wind) Funny thing about that old cat, who's 17 by the way. If I'm cleaning catfish or sandbass or something like that, she won't eat it. She'll only eat crappie or bluegill scraps. She's got better taste than more humans. I hear ya Slab about old cats(or animals) in general. I have a 18 yr old and 10 yr old cat, and though the 10 yr old is male and bigger, he always let's the old female go first and she'll only eat certain things. Funny in the animal world how they show respect like that. Just had an 18 yr old male cat put to sleep last September due to dimensia and other things I won't mention. Glad ya caught some nice slabs!

I hear ya on the animals. I have a 7 year old lab and her 1yr old pup. The pup is already 10 pounds heavier than her mom who was a litter runt but is an awsome dog. Anyway, it so funny to see how the pup bows down to her mom even though she's so much bigger. If she gets too close to her moms food bowl she turns her head and lets out a small growl. The pup puts her tail between her legs and back off...it's hillarious!

Slabexpress, Those are some very nice fish, wow! I use to live near Donnie Texas and have spent a lot of time at lake limestone, but never caught any crappie like that there. I guess that ol mudhole has some pretty good fish in it after all.
I moved up here at RC about 4 yrs ago but my kids still live in Teague and the Grand Kids go to Teague so I'm sure I've run into you before, probably at a Football Game, Last year games were a lot of fun. I hope this year games are good too.
The crappie here at RC should be getting better, maybe I'll see you up here sometime and we can share a fishin story are two, or talk sports... GO LIONS!
