It sure looks odd to me to have the electronics he has and no mention of how he came to have them. And he doesn't know how to spell the name brand LOWRANCE.

If you have had you electronics stolen take a look.

tell ya a little secret. look at the bottom right picture. now look at that humminbird mount.. you see where its bent(where the screw holes are at).. its been pulled and prodded to yank it off whatever it was mounted too.. if I were a betting man, I would bet this is all stolen property.

SkeeterRonnie,

I see what you are talking about. Did not notice that at first. Just the variety he has and the pics raised my suspicion.

hes in north richland hills(the poster). those are all older units, that many use on thier pontoon boats. there is one I cant see in one of the pictures that is a big screen(and it looks like a big lowrance or humminbird unit - big $$$$$). the poster cant type proper english, or spell.(me either, at times! smile ) I would love to be an undercover officer and have a detective job! smile

I wonder if you could turn this into the PD, and if they would actually follow up with it. because the mount on that unit gives it away that it was ripped off something.

I called the guy this morning to feel him out. I asked him about the Hummingbird units and he said he would have to wait until he got to the shop to give me any specifics. I then asked him where they came from, he stumbled around with his speach for a bit and said they came from a boat, I asked, "Your boat?" He said, "yes". I lighthartedly said, "with three units on one boat, there was not a fish that could get away from you, huh". He just said, "I guess not."
I then asked if he could at least tell me the model numbers of the Hummingbirds. He said, "no." I asked again if these were on his boat and he said, "yes." I asked how he could not know the model number of the depth finders that he had obviously spent a lot of money on and used? He then said, "I go through so many boats and fishing stuff, I dont know." I asked him where he likes to fish and he said, "I have not been in a while"

Sounds like these items are very likely stolen.

I figure he means that he goes through so many other peoples boats and fishing stuff, stealing, that he cannot remember what he stole mad

Hope somebody sees there stuff and goes and buys it back from him...........with a 36" long piece of 2" pipe......

Sent the link to Criminal Investigations in NRH. Not sure if they can do anything but I tried.

somebody call and tell him you've been looking for that kinda of depth finder for while, you'll give top dollar for it(to buy him in). Just tell to find the serial number for you , have him thinking you checking how much manufactory warranty is left on it. Tell 'em you give him $650 for it tonight you need the serial number first.
