Man that's a large arbor reel!!!! Or is it a small bass???
I've caught small bream that size on a fly, but never a bass. This time of year a size 10 Dave's Hopper could be a deadly combination on the fly.

Lol...I used to have trouble with bass that size @ a lake back home in this one little cove. Be fishing with worms to catch some perch for bait, and those little bass would go after it. Have also caught really small bullheads (1 1/2") on a small hook and piece of worm...just drop it into a school of 'em.
No fish is too good for the grease.

My personal worst would probably have been when I buried two treble hooks in my buddy's dad's neck when were chasing striper on Texoma. I thought for sure I'd have to swim back to the ramp.
