Kris you really CAN'T go wrong from the bank on the southside this year. Look for stickups and rocky points off any of the park roads. Almost all the fish I caught on Saturday come from a stretch of 20 ft!

Stin, where are you talking about? I'm itching to get out there. I almost went today after work but did not get off until 4:00. Can you direct me to some good bank spots? I'll tell you the places I've fished. Once, I fished at whatever that first Marina is called once you cross the dam. The only bank I could fish from was out past the boat slips. The other time, I pulled into a park of some sort that had a hiking trail leaving from it. Both spots were next to eachother. Anyone else have any ideas?

JEJ34, I've caught fish all along the southern banks of Grapevine. You just need to get out there and try different spots. Stin and I met up about a month ago and we caught fish at three different locations in the same morning. The reason we don't give exact spots on the internet is that we don't want to see 10 guys trying to fish that spot the next day or next weekend.
Just get out there and wet a line!

Hwy 121 and 114 are the best ways. If you use google maps you can see lots of different roads that will lead you to some great bank fishing. Just drive around and see what you hit. Some days you can catchem some days you just have to search for em. Good luck.

114 Exit kimball go north. Also I bought a lake map for my boat. But I would use it to check out all the parks and shore accesss. The map will tell you how to get to the good spots.

Went out lastnight and there were a ton of people there.. There were people letting there kids swim or bathe not sure which in my most productive spot.. I know its a public lake but man that irritates me.. If you wanna swim go to Oak Grove Park with the rest of them...
