Fished Hubbard this morning with slow results. Started around RP then to the peanut then to the red barn, and so on. Finally found a few fish on humps off of RP. All small fish with very few keepers nto be found. I saw a lot of fishing going on, but not much catching. Did any one have better luck this afternoon?

I took my father out this morning and we had a hard time catching fish. We never saw any schooling, found some deep off the river channel and managed 8. I hope you all have a good fathers day, and we all we get them next time.

I was out for a couple of hrs yesterday morning (Saturday) not fishing but just cruising around and saw two boat shows. The one at yankee creek had boiling water and many fish caught. This was around 9-10AM before the very dark cloud storm system blew me out of the lake. Man was the weatherman waaayy off!! More like 20-30 mph instead of 4-6mph forecasted. Got soaked and wet trying to put my boat back into the trailer with strong cross wind and damaged my trailer's guide posts. My last two trips on RH had been uneventful and brutal!! Ironically my offshore fishing trip in the Gulf of Mexico last Wednesday was rather calm, much calmer than lake RH. Go figures.

The fish were busting the water all over the place. All though we were fishing for Blacks, we had to stop and get on some sandies as it was just too easy. The schools of fish were literaly surrounding the boat. They would stay up for a few minutes at a time then disappear. This went on for at least an hour before 9 am. Most fish were small keepers but still fun to catch.

I clicked a 118 Saturday morning from 8:00 to 10:30 and little less Sunday morning from 6:30 to 10:30. Only a handful were good size, though. Also, I caught loads of under sized sand bass, which got frustrating after a while. But, it sounds like I shouldn't be complaining

My son and I went out yesterday morning and found them on top just as we were pulling out of Lakeside Marina. Only pulled four small sandies out before they shut off. It was just us and one more boat and I didn't see him pull any. Although I was marking TONS of fish we couldn't get them to bite.
We left there and found a couple of boat shows by the Power Plant but didn't mark as many fish as we where we had just left. We tried there but after about 15 minutes of not seeing any fish pulled we left.
To make a long story short, we ended up back where we started and still couldn't get them to bite. We threw everything in the tackle box at them and just couldn't get them to turn on. We were off the water by 10am.

I had better luck catching catfish on party cove on Sunday. I couldn't get anything else to bite. This morning wasn't any better either.
