Treated myself to a birthday fishing trip. Knocked the dirt dobbers off the boat and the wind allowed me to fish today! On the water by 8am off by 2:30pm. Fished docks and some brush. Stayed on the west side of the lake. Use my clicker today to keep count of all the dinks. Ended up catching 22 but only 7 keepers. The bite was good early and slowed around 10am. Done fishing for two weeks. Going to Taxas A&M to work some summer camps then I will have a few weeks off. Oh I bought a new house in Allen yesterday!!! I now can start going to the crappie club meetings. Also the new house is 5 min from Lake Lavon. I will be looking for someone to show me the ropes on that lake. Cant Wait!! Happy fishing!

Hey Jason,
Omega4 and myself was out yesterday on CC as well we ended up with 40 on the clicker with 9 being keepers. Thanks to my buddy (you know who you are)for giving me a sweet game plan for CC flehan. We fished from 6am-12pm. We mainly fished bridges(18-20ft)was the magic depth thumb and docks (8ft or deeper) was the magic numberthumb. The WIND whip didn't help use either making it hard to fish places we wanted to. We caught a bunch of 9-1/2 & 9-3/4 fish soap. All fish caught on jigs with anything chart. in it.

I had trips both days this weekend at CC. On Saturday the weather could have been better, with wind and rain, but we did OK. Lot so smaller fish, but were able to get a nice mess of keepers out of the catch. Today was a bunch different. Wind was light and smaller fish were not around. We caught some outstanding fish (best this year). Every brushpiles had good keepers and we were able to find four crappie over 2# with the balance in the 1 1/2 -- 1 3/4# range. All fish came 17 - 20' on brushpiles and everything was caught on the Rocky Top 2" solid tube from Finny Tribe. BTW, if you don't have some of these baits, you better be calling JayDon soon, cause I'm buying all he has bouncy
