I have always fished with live or dead bait and I am looking to try out some plastic lures like those bull assasins. My question is what colors should I use during the day and also at night? What colors do reds like and what colors do trout like? Any help would be appreciated.

I have always had goo luck with strawberry, alvocado and fire tiger. I like the TTK and assassins. If you can find a corkys pick 2 up a dark (purple or black) and a light (bone, white, dayglow, silver or Tx chicken)

go to academy and get some gulp 3" shrimp in new penny. you can use them just like live shrimp under a popping cork or on a jighead and swim them in. Also, I got some #3 flutter hooks that have some weight on the shaft and so they are weighted but theres no jig head. that has been my favorite presentation.

I went out this past saturday and tried a pumpkinseed/chartreuse tail plastic and an electric chicken plastic and got nothing. i had them on a 1/8 oz jig head and was just working it slowly by bouncing it off the bottom. any ideas on what i might be doing wrong? Thanks.
