First off thanks for all the help and advice you guys post on here.I am greatful.4 years ago I was tranplanted to Texas due to a divorce and all I had for a while was work and fish. But anyhow, I was thinking of giving Ray Roberts a shot. I have no boat. Are there any stop that I could get to and fish from the bank? Any barges, like Lake Lewisville? Access to bait 24/7? If not is there anywhere close that is? I am not looking for honey holes, just looking to catch a mess or two of crappie. Lake Lewisville has been horrible this year.
Once again thanks for all the advice. I have a couple of 10 year olds that love to crappie as well...........

Thanks

Might invest in a tube and fish the trees by the railroad on the buck creek side if the wind ever blows less than 30mph. Not sure how good your luck would be from the bank this time of year. Fish are starting to move to their summer pattern deeper in the trees. Cover some area and fish lots of trees if you can.
