I've always fished Granger but want to try Lake Georgtown for Crappie since it's a lot closer to my home. Since Georgetown is a clear water lake, at what depth do you Georgtown experts normally catch Crappie during the day in the Summertime? Also what color combinations seem to work for jigs?
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, Scott

Ken, Last weekend I did pretty good in 10 to 14 feet of water. Most were on brushpiles. The small whites were also schooling like crazy when I was Crappie fishing. You couldn't even get your jig down to the brushpile without catching a 6 inch white bass. Good luck!

Any action is good action. I release most of them any way. Especially since I will be camping I won't keep more than we will eat in a day. Will have 10 and 12 year old daughters who just want to catch. Looking for relaxation and using my new sonar to find the brush piles and fish.
