had 2 groups of folks down at the floating cabins this past weekend. firday was good for trout back in the hole driftin using halographric d.o.a. shrimp tails under the ole alameda cork setup. reds still scattered with a few being caught. the red fish should start showing up in numbers with the water temp increasing at a fairly rapid pace. night fishing under the lights was excellent as usual for trout. the first groups kept around 60 keepers between the four of them and the second group at another cabin picked up around fourty keepers between the 4 of them. first group was dowm for a 48 hour trip and second group for a 24 hour trip.
i did something different on this trip and shot down the intracoastal water way to around marker 9 and camped out over night. we caught around 15 nice trout,. the funny thing was the trout would not touch anything but live shrimp. we threw everything we had in the way of artificials and they just would not touch them. kinda different but oh well it was fun to rough it alittle. reminded me of the ole days. till the next one. gods speed to all.
I'VE NEVER HAD A BAD FISHING TRIP, JUST ONES WITH DIFFERENT OUTCOMES.

Thanks
