I went out yesterday and by late morning, running anywhere on the lake was getting me wet. TODAY I think you would get wet fishing on the bank!!! What gives, this is JUNE!!!

Gust's up to 35mph today. At least its down from the 40mph it was showing it was going to be yesterday for today. I'm sure this is going to cut into the Wednesday night tourney's.

This wind just won't stop. Seems like Mother Nature hasn't been too fond of fishermen in Texas the last month or so. Gosh, wish it would at least rain, or something, but no, just wind and more wind.

The wind is supposed to break Friday...I hope so, It is hurting business much more than gas prices are.

I am kind of selfish with this, but this wind has been perfect. Normally during the Summer, I fish almost every morning. But this being the first week of summer for my kids I have been working every night, so cannot even think of going fishing. My night work will be done by Friday night, so hopefully the wind will be gone also

Thanks bud. I'm hoping for a break in the wind. The lake is a tad over 17' low and the wind is out of the south down there so if I stay up the Devils I should be OK. By the way my wife and I moved from Temple to Waco in June of last year. She works in Waco and at the price of gas it turned out to be a good move.

I thought the wind had been much stronger for longer this year for sure. I called the National Weather Service and they told me different. They said it had not been any different this year than normal. Odd. I could have sworn there have been more advisories this year than before.
