Thought I would play guige for the day and made plans for my 61 year old father 59 year old mother and my 13 year old daughter to all go fishing with me Sunday at Richland Chambers.First off we leave the house at 0630 about an hour late but hey she's 13. Dad wants to pull the boat with his new truck all is good. Stop at oak cove for them some minnows and we launch. Get to the bridge wind is all ready bad but we try it. all i am doing is taking off fish baiting hooks and holding the boat off the bridge.Lots of small ones but some keepers then the yellow bass move in and mome get real quiet. Yep You guessed it sea sick bad!!!! While she is chuming sand bass come to the serface but i dont say anything.I ask if she is ready to go home and she says no she's good. Right, shure, she is but we go on and i try toget us out of the wind and wave with out getting to far from the boat ramp. Mom sleeps in the floor of the boat my daughter is fishing with her IPOD in and Texting frinds and is still catching her fair share plus biggest. back at the boat ramp 3 lanes and dad needs all 3 of them cant beleave we didnt get shot. Just wondered if its just me.

LOL typical story of my life, but usually a day like that wouldn't be complete unless we took no fish home. So be happy you caught fish. The joys you have given others by them fishing and you baiting is worth it. Look like your family there in that bottom pic. M y favorite pic is of me and my father-in-law with fish. Not because of the size of the fish but because he is in it. I may have to add it like you have yours.

Probably remain breezy to wind into the weekend it appears, but I'll find out more when I go to work this week on overnights. If anyone has a weather question, never hesitate to PM me if you like.

2 years ago I took my parrents to Lake Texoma got a striper guide my dad was 90 and my mom was 85. My sister and brother in law went too, we left the boat dock at 6:30a.m. and got back with all our limits before 9:30a.m. I would have liked to fish longer, but it was long enough for my parrents. We all had a great time, and I was really impressed the way the guide took care of my parrents. I would recomend this to anyone. Priceless!

Just file that away in the old memory banks because these will be the days you remember when they are gone. It won't matter what went wrong just that you had taken the time to have fun or at least time with your folks. Believe it or not, these really are the good ole days.
