Caught 15 Redfish in 3 1/2 hours Sunday during the heat of the day and man was it fun! No huge ones but they were big enough to put up a really good fight. Most of them hit shrimp on the bottom about 15 to 20 feet deep. The bigger ones though hit live perch. Both of us had two poles out each; one with shrimp the other with unweighted live perch under a balloon. There were times when all four poles had fish on. It was a three ring circus with both of us fighting fish while helplessly looking at our poles in the rod holders bent over double. Best trip I've been on in a long time.

That sounds like a fine time to me.

Water temp? Dunno, didn't even look. When we setup the fish started hitting right off the bat and we stayed pretty busy. However, it wasn't hot by any means. It felt like regular lake water not the hot tub heated water that you might expect.

Thanks for the report--I would have thought it would have been warmer by now.
