Waiting on my better half to get home from the Cross Canadian Ragweed conceert.

so im back....... left my house at 5:15 with a southeast wind, waited on my girlfriend to meet me at my house. we got the park on the OK side, the first one you come to after you cross the bridge. the sun was still not up so i tied my leader on my fly rod. sun started to come up, and i could hear some splashes really close to shore. my girlfriend casted a 4inch swim bait. she caught one, so i had to take it off the hook. i spent the next 30 minutes taking fish off of her rod before i told her to go take a nap in the car lol. i caught about 15 in 45 minutes. alot of 15-22inches. i saw striper chasing shad in about 6-9inches of water. i saw a couple monsters. maybe 10lber. it was an awesome morning. we caught 30+ fish and got home at 10am after a quick breakfast. ill be out there tomorrow morning. we caught them on the south side of the park. by the little penisula

That sounds like an awesome morning. I'd be out somewhere this morning too, but I managed to burn my hand yesterday, and so casting is out until it heals up. Nothing major, maybe a week or two.

My mother & father in law went to that Cross Canadian Ragweed show last night.
