What do ya'll do with the fish? I've never really heard of anyone eating carp except for the asian community when i lived in California.

What do ya'll do with the fish? I've never really heard of anyone eating carp except for the asian community when i lived in California. Most of us give 'em CPR--catch, photograph, and release.

i do the same thing but if i catch one that is under 5lbs and someone wants it to eat ill give it away but if its over 5lbs sorry its going back

usually c&r. but have given quite a few smaller ones away to hungry fishermen

cpr, i dont think ive ever slayed a carp but i def. would like to eat it once.

it's not bad actually! I finally ate some at the kid fish at Joe Pool. Tasted pretty good... I'm just not a fan of the bones of which a carp has many of!!

It tasted good, but too many bones. That being said, catch and release for me.

if i am going to set a trot line, i will use smaller ones for cutbait, but usually it is catch and relase after taking a pic
i have eaten them and they are just like other fish, but with lots of bones as said
