What happened to the fishing show on weekend mornings on KRLD it went off the air last week thirty minutes into the show, and was not on this morning. I need my Lindy Roberts reports.

labdog, there is a link on the left side of this page towards the bottom under affilliate to Texas Fishing and Outdoors Show. This is the same show. It might have some info. I used to listen to that show every weekend while sipping my wake up coffee.

I called and they said that baseball has been running late in the evenings so KRLD has not been able to air the Bob Costas show. So they were airing it at 5 this morning and 5:30 last Saturday. This is just on KRLD - the rest of the network ran the show as scheduled.

WE ALL NEED TO SHOW KRLD THE POWER OF THE TFF and call the station Monnday morning and complain to the program director. There is no excuse for pulling a live show to run some tape of Costas and the NBA commissionor.

CALL KRLD and let them know that we want to hear all of Brian Hughes show.

Man -- I thought there was a major problem when I turned it on at 5 this morning. Take Bob Costas and stick him where the sun doesn't shine.

bob costas would sound just as good at 3am with the same amount of listners.

I can remember when KRLD use to do all the High School Football scores on Friday night. They quit that some 15+ years ago. With many coaches in the state complaining. It never did any good.

It looks to be a permanent move. The KRLD schedule shows Bob Costas on Saturday mornings.

I sent them an email this morning and will try and call later. I wonder why they have taken this off the air?? It's become somewhat of a tradition to listen to Brian Hughes and all of the area lake guides on my morning commute to the lake.

It's been off for 2 weekends now! I'm now officially disenfranchised, and will voice that today to mr Spittle.
I do like "traffic on the 8's", but hate
commercials on the 5's

Boys, Boys, Boys. I've been in the radio business since 1970 and let me tell you something, it ain't gonna change. No matter how many call, send letters, emails etc. Radio is a business run by the bottom line. Bean counters now make the decisions, not program directors, operation managers or even general managers for that matter. Sorry.
But, that's the way radio is these days.

Well, I guess we'll just see if the bean counters can count how many calls they get...
