Congrats on your purchase! It is a fun and very economical boat to have. My buddy has one and it is great to go out on.

congrats and I think you will be happy with tracker. I have a 175 tracker with a 50hp 2 stroke and stainless prop. I can get 36mph (gps) with 2 passengers and average load. I would imagine the 170 tracker with a 50 should be a bit faster so should be no problem getting you and a fishing buddy around. Just got to be careful in high winds which seems to be every day lately frown
