I am new to the GPS thing and just bought a Garmin Blue Chart. I understand that I only get one code to unlock one region, but there are several regions in the area that I mainly fish. The main areas that I want to cover is from Brownsville to the Houston coastal region. There seems to be three regions that cover this area. Other than the obvious differences of the slight coverage area difference, are there any other differences?

Are some areas more defined in different regions?

The regions that cover this area are:
US303B
US014R
US304B

What are the differences in these regions?

Sorry for the lengthy post, I dont have a clue and hope that someone out there can help.

Thanks,
Scott

You can get the whole Texas Coast on the blue charts. They should be accessible on your southern region chip. They are pretty detailed. Hope it works out for you.
