Well i can troll at 2mph with my ETM and thats mostly what i've been doing. I would like to mark them with my fishfinder but i just bought my first one a month ago (Eagle 502c) and im still learning how to use it. thanks for the help tho maybe ill see some of you guys out on cedar creek sometime since that where i really only fish.

Don't know Lewisville, but have fished CC for 30+ years and slabbing is an effective technique for most of the year. It does get harder to locate the sandies/hybrids during the summer as they seem to follow a more scattered pattern. But once located, give me a slab any day. Trolling can be relaxing at times but I like the challenge of finding them stacked and figure anyone can troll and catch.
