what he said

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

2.7 to 3.2. On mine it is just putting it in gear.

ETM is the way to go if you want to catch fish. Or mark'em and slab them up!

2 1/2 to 3 MPH is about right need to move fast enough to
make the lure work properly and the fish can move a lot faster
than that.

There is no need for trolling, mark them then slab them up!

Wello on a hot still day the little breeze of the boat moving
feels pretty good, However with the current cost of fuel I do
think trolling will become a thing of the past for me. Plus the
catching is a lot more fun dragging them up with a slab than
towing them with the boat.

Not so fast my friend, Jim Legrand has probably caught more sand bass than any one on Cedar Creek and unless he started today he doesn't troll.
Find them and catch em.

It ain't easy making it look easy.
