Ronnie Manning get a life and quit picking on the new guy to the TFF. I liked TFF alot till i got bashed on a post that "i" thought was a perfectly legit post. I have recieved alot of useful info on here. Im sorry you think it was a "stupid post". I was just trying to get some peoples opinions on the matter....Not to be bashed for it. But if it makes you feel better about yourself then go ahead. TO ALL WHO I HAVE AFFENDED...........honestly didnt mean anything by it. moving on now.

maybe the race was mentioned because he couldnt understand a word those people said when they talked to each other. if they spoke english like they should then he wouldve left out the race card.

Ok by spanish do you mean hispanic. Only mentioning becouse this mistake is made often. Also the mistake of mexicans and hispanics. Also i think that under sized fish are wrong to keep end of story. If they were throwing them in the bag big deal. In houston i also have witnessed asian's keeping anyhting they catch and just throwing them in the dry bucket. I normally dont have a problem till they start keeping 10 inch specs.

Should you have said something? No. MYOB is a good policy.
When I first moved to ET, I broke my ankle one spring and ended up fishing a lot on the Crappie Barge on Lake Tyler. I fished in close quarters with all kinds of people. I found the best policy was to offer no advice, but be helpful when advice was requested. Some people resent the hell out being told how to fish.( or anything else for that matter )
As for filleting the fish, my neighbor fillets them right out of the live well. I will make an incision right behind the gills, cut the artery from the heart , and let them bleed out. On catfish , I will whack'em between the eyes , make the same incision, and fillet. I tell my nieghbor my way is more humane, but in reality I just want a more co-operative patient and a less blood fillet. I also tell him , that if I ever have to be filleted, please whack me on the head and cut my throat first.
good luck Mo

By the way Tsip, it's "Aggie", not "Aggy". Nice to have the rivalry alive n' well. Man, that didn't take much. I love how easy it is to fire an "aggy" up... I wasn't even trying to stir this one up either. Did aggy win it's spring game this year? I'll just say this, and leave it alone. And NO, I'm not "fired up" as one person put it. I'm just a believer in being classy to all folks on here, whether they went to college or not, military or not, or whatever. I'm not a fan of some other Texas universities, but that doesn't mean I need to poke fun or degrade a university that is close to them as an alum. I see no need in it or place for it on a "fishing forum". Make sense? Good...now let's move on. Sorry to the others for this thread getting derailed on this stuff.
Nah, that doesn't make sense. Lighten up big guy...this is a fishing forum not a church forum. It's ok if we razz each other every now then. The rivalry between these two schools is the oldest in Texas and one of the oldest in the country. If you can't handle a little razz every now and then maybe you should consider taking down your signature. Make sense?
It's all good, Lav and I'm not uptight about the Horns/Ags rivalry. Matter of fact, if it's in good taste, no biggie brother. I'm not a bible-thumper, though I thought your analogy was pretty funny. As for my signature? Comparing apples to oranges(no pun intended) my friend. Why should I take mine down, because I'm proud of my university? I'm not saying "Horns blow chunks" or "UT Cowpatties" in my sig. Big difference there. I see your sig has the UT football helmet, some folks have mascot symbols, or even flags of their school, that's all cool in my mind. I'm no sensitive choir-boy, believe me. I'm just a person that loves a good rivalry as well as anyone else, but tries to keep it tasteful. Having pride in my school in my sig (just like you) isn't the same thing. The majority of your post made sense, until the last line which was overboard in your comparison IMO. Like I said, dead issue man. Let's talk about fishing and not trash other people, or the place of education just to look cute.
This young man has just purveyed what I have been saying about these two fine institutions of higher learning ever since I became involved on this forum!!! Well said there young aggie, well said!!! It is a privilege to be able to cheer for your school/team, but do not lower yourself to say demeaning & derogatory things about your rival!! That sort of BS only shows the lack of class of yourself, it all boils down to SPORTSMANSHIP, without it, YOU ARE A MISERABLE LOSER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
