I would love to fish cedar creek at night with my daughter however I know ZIP about this Lake.I need for someone to help me out. I live in the garland area and would need a place to put in at and maybe some advice on where not go (I love my lower unit). I hear so much about fishing the boat houses out there. I think me and my kid would have a blast. Thanks JOE

If it were me I would try to get here before dark and try to get a little familiar with the lake and establish a way back to the ramp. I don't fish too much at night, I feel like bug bait when I do, but look for lights that shine down onto the water. The flood light type deal isn't as good as an aimed light, be quiet in the boat and cast into the wind if possible, cast beyond the halo of light and slowly reel through it. Billy swears by Little Fishies for bait, I know you can catch them on sassy shad. The ramp between the bridges or Big Chief would be a good place to launch. If you really want to do it right you might hire Billy or Duck Jerky for your first trip, they can shorten the learning curve quite a bit.

Dito fastguy. Billy or Duck Jerky can help you with some great night time fishing.
