It makes a lot of sense to me, bright cloudless sky, light and variable wind, the day after a large rain. On the water at 7:45 and in the house at 12:15.
The first stop was the Iron Wall, I caught a nice sand bass and moved on to the drop off, sat there for 2 hours and caught 16 legal hybrids. Maybe it was just a coincidence but as soon as the guys trolling stopped by to ask how I was doing and what the limit is I caught 1 more legal fish and that was it. welcome Just saying... It might have been over anyway, that is a long time for hybrids to hang in an area.
I went to the long ridge to admire Jim Legrand's new boat then back to the Iron Wall. Nothing. As there is about 3 miles between the drop off and the Iron Wall I think it is safe to say that the trollers didn't have anything to do with that.

It ain't easy making it look easy.

Funny how that coincidence thing works. Monday afternoon I finally found the SB and undersized hybrids piled up on a windy, and I mean windy point near Enchanted Island. Fast and furious slab action until Mr. Cabin Cruiser cuts between my boat and the point at flank speed, throwing a surfable wake. He and his posse ignored my arms out "WTF?" pose.

Graph goes blank, game over. Thanks for playing.
