100% fluro in 12 pound test works great for casting and strength. and I use 20 pound for leader. Never had a problem.

Give it a try sometime I think you will like it.

Been using Seagar InvisX and have no real complaints but I'd like to try and find a more supple line. Maybe will try BPS or the Berkley 100% ... I am hearing good things here.

Viscious in 6, 10, 12, 15 and 20 pound test been very good for me. Tommy at Rockwall Marine sells it locally and I have been very pleased with it. If you are getting seperation then cut back past the seperation or respool. If it continues to happen let them know at Viscious and they will replace the spool. Its good line and hard to beat for the price.

I have been using Vicious 12 pound this year. So far, I have not had any trouble with it. Definitely call customer service.

You may have just gotten a bad batch. It happens. My son got a bad batch of Gamma. Drop them a line.

Seagar InVizX has been a great line for both me and my customers.

I have used it all, with the exception to Vicious, and currently have three different brands of fluoro that I use often BPS which is my favorite, P-Line Halo, and 100% Berkley. the BPS seems to have less strech then the other 2, the 100 percent cast better to me, and the P-Line is really strong.

I love Vicious, especially the 12 and 15 lb. Definitely contact customer service. I had a problem w/ a spool on one occassion and the had a replacement on my doorstep a few days later. No questions asked. Great customer service

I had the same problem with Vicious, I sent an email and they said they would be glad to send me another spool. They have great customer service.

I used vicious while pre-fishing for my last tournament 20#. For the money it was just as I figured it would be. Its ok, it dosent stay spooled tight, it frays faster than other fluorocarbons but is really tough after you re tie. Just re tie often with this line. When I didnt re tie often I broke several hooks off. Its fairly stiff but for a practice fluoro line its still better than any mono IMO. No way I would use Vicious in a tournament, its not that good, but for practice its probably the best thing going because around .02 cents a yard.

I use to use nothing but Berkley Flouro, Had no problems for years. Then in the last year i have had lots of problems with it. Line breakage, KNots coming untied ( i know probably my fault) just lots of problems. I swithed to the seaguar line and i LOVE IT. It is by far the best i have ever used. I respooled all my reels with it. Works great for me. I lifted a 6 lb bass out of a pond with 8LB line and it didnt break. The bass was also in the grass and had it wadded up on him. Probably made the bass over 8lbs dead weight lifting it out. also casts much better than the berkley. Berkley is a good line but i will be using seaguar from now on.

I've used 15# Viscious for the last two months now with no problems. Before that I used 15# P Line 100% with no problems, but the price makes me flinch. All my floro is used on fairly soft rods though. As I recall the P line seemed a little stiffer and may have had a larger diameter, but I haven't had it in my hands since last year and never did put a micrometer to it so I can't say for sure.

You get what you pay for. I use vicious for some applications but the best I've used is seaguar.
